Since I discovered Pieces on the Volume 8 CD and i read that it was about Frank's brother's death, i've been wondering how/when he died, anybody know?

It happened in late March of 1996. It was the night after they played on Conan, which I think was march 23 or 24, 1996.

Remember the Behind the Music when Frank was talking about his Brother and he started crying. Man I felt so bad. I even started to get all choked up.

yeah that was pretty sad.
and as far as gun laws go. people will always have them. it's like drugs they're illegal and punishment for them can be severe but people still do them. lots of poeple do.
