HAS INTEGRITY
Both have albums coming out in October on Sanctuary, both are from NYC, I smell a tour..............................

p.s. Type O Negative have an album coming out in October (what other month would typo ever use??? duh) Type O Negative/Anthrax/Biohazard, that tour would rule :flame:

That would rule but who would head line? I mean Type o kicks ass, hell they all headline club shows... I dont know. hmmm

Bio could bring Onyx and Thrax could bring P.E.

Anyhow, a Biohazard and Anthrax tour would kick ass.

I think Type O have been pulling in higher numbers in terms of album sales and ticket sales (a platinum album and a gold album in the last few years), so if this hypothetical tour ever happened, Anthrax are opening - hell, they essentially opened for the Misfits when they opted (or were coerced) to play first every night on that tour, but they still played a full set, maybe they could do that with TON. When TON toured with the Misfits, the Misfits were the opener, you see where I am going with this. Biohazard are smaller than either band, they were supposed to break big in 1994, and maybe they would have, but metal pretty much died the following year, and by the time they released Mata Leo in 1996, the major labels were done with them.

Doesn't Motorhead have a recent album on Sanctuary, too? Has anyone heard it?

Also, Superjoint Ritual is on Sanctuary, too, although I think they've already got summer tour dates booked...but maybe they could do a Canadian leg with Anthrax in the fall... :)

type o negative are they still going, that is one band that should never share the same stage as anthrax,if anything type should open show.
anthrax and biohazard would fucken rock

Everyone's on Sanctuary now. I'd love to see Anthrax and Motorhead, Halford, Rollins Band. Sanctuary's got great acts. Best move on Anthrax's part would be to tour with a heavy band that draws from a little bit different audience. That's the problem with Slayer/Anthrax/Overkill type bills, it draws from all the same fans so it's hard to move to the bigger venues.

Never been into Biohazard or Typo, which is not to say they suck, I dig some of their stuff but a whole show of theirs would bore me. I'd love to see Anthrax on Family Values or Ozzfest even though they're both gay. I just want to get in back stage at the big venues. As long as they don't end up with any of the gay new acts I'm cool with it. So many opening bands I've seen lately have sucked so bad. They're more into synchronized stage jumping, baggy shorts, screaming and rapping than playing/writing interesting songs.

The thing that sucks whan a band "makes it" is then you CAN'T see tham in a club venue. I mean outdoor 10000 seat places suck for concerts. It would be great for Anthrax to be playing stadiums but then it would be a shitty concert. But thats me being selfish.

TD, Yeah I went to the Misfits/Anthrax and I couldnt believe it when Thrax opened. I totally went there with the knowledge that Thrax was the headliners. You say they were coerced in to opening every night do you know what happined with that? But it was still cool I like the Graves era fits.

The "PR version" of why Anthrax "opened" was this: since every venue was small, one band had to have thier drumkit torn down after soundchecking and built back before thies set, Charlie was said to have not wanted his drum kit tore down after he did a soundcheck. I asked him about it at the World Series of Metal Show in Cleveland, and he said that there was a bunch of bullshit surrounding it, and that he didn't want to talk about. It was funny, at several of the shows the tickets either said "anthrax" or "anthrax and the misfits" and that is what the marquees said, but then Anthrax played first every night. Also wierd was the openers. Sometimes it was Napalm Death and Cannibal Corpse. Sometimes it was LOA and CC. Sometimes it was all of the above, sometimes none of the above......

Being a huge Type-O-Negative fan, I would love to see that tour, and hope they make it to Minnesota(If anybody with any influence is reading this , please consider the Twin Cities for a date) and Biohazard would be a cool opening act. I think we have a Tour.(well I hope so)
