When is this thing supposed to come out?? I'm getting stoked about it.

I talked to John back in August and he said as of right now theres no plans on working on the boxset but hopefully in the future. If things have changed since then I have no clue.

I'm not sure if Anthrax ever recorded enough b-sides, outtakes, covers etc etc etc to release a box set??? I hope I'm wrong though. It seems that they've released everything through singles and euro releases.

maybe the supposed belladonna reunion could provide some special material, other than that they would have to make it very special.

What if through all of our bitching about the Belladonna possilbe reunion, Anthrax notice and decide not to do it. And if they would have done it, it would have catapaulted them into rock star status. Uh, fuck that. Yeah right.

I think they have recorded enough. I'd rather see more stuff that was never released at all (and therefore not even as b-sides). They should also include as much live stuff as possible. Iron Maiden's box set had a good amount of live stuff.

Charlie mentioned once last year they would like to include the entire Dallas 1987 show where the two live tracks from the I'm the Man single were recorded. I told him I had a copy of that show and he said "Ok, we'll call it 'Justin already has this.'"

Being a freak for live stuff, I would love to have a better quality recording of this show. I'm a little concerned though since I saw the original reel to reel master on eBay. Charlie said it was stolen, but I don't know what happened with that ordeal.

I forgot about all the demo's too. Plus it'd be cool to see them release the very first sessions they had with Bush. And maybe I was high but didn't they cover a beastie boys song in 93?

Yes, "Looking Down the Barrel of a Gun."

I'm sure Scott and Charlie have piles of tapes somewhere with things we'd love to hear. I hope they can pull off this box set thing.

I also hope they put a DVD in with the box with rare performances and other shit.

I can't stand listening to the intro to "looking down the barrel of a gun". It portrays them as dicks. Anthrax has always been cool to us on their tour bus. Or wherever the fuck we were.

Yeah, I am pretty sure something that was released around that time had LDTBOAG without that intro. I think it was the original 2 CD Japanese release of SOWN, but I could be mistaken. The intro is kinda funny, but it's not worth hearing more than once a year.

I'd like to see em release some REALLY old demos of REALLY OLD songs like "the Antichrist." That would be cool.

Throw in every bside and cover song ever...maybe a few demos and live shit with a 60 page booklet and shabam!! You got yourself 'Caugh in a Box.'

I don't know about a Cypress Hill song, but Scott rapped part of "So watcha want" live. I think they played a recording of the music when he did that, though they might have played some music themselves.
do you have anything of Scott performing with the Houise of Pain??
