If you have only Anthrology, you should get Sound of White Noise and We've Come for You All. In that order. The you too can join the Joey vs John fun!

Also Sound of white noise, Among the Living, We've come for you All, Spreading the Disease. This stuff will break you in nice so you can appreciate some of the other records better.

anthrax have played many diferrent kinds.
if only they had made an album with all the covers
you would freak out
from sex pistols , alice cooper ,kiss ,to celtic frost ,police and radiohead
and many more.....

Well you should start with all thier 80's cd's first and everything they did in the 90's last. Anthrology is a damn good start becouse it has all thier good stuff on there.

Stomp 442 and We've Come For You All are my two favorites.

Sound Of White Noise is the most famous Bush era album and Persistence Of Time is the best Joey era album, IMHO

nope.. All of them are good, but a MUST have is Among the Living and Persistance of Time. Volume 8 is good and so is We;ve Come for you all.

If you've got the anthology then I reckon getting some BUSH era stuff is best.
