They sound a bit like Radiohead and Tool. Most of the stuff I listen to are heavy metal but this band I can enjoy listen to. Can't Smile by them is pretty good.

can't smile i'd say is their only good song- i heard that and thought they were really good but then heard other stuff and was a bit disappointed really- my friends have seen them live too and apparently they are not that good live. maybe they'll improve with their next album? there was way too much hype around them when they started though coz they were being produced by ross robinson.
I guess why they're getting some attention. Vex Red sounds nothing like the nu-metal bands or any band Robinson produced though.
