Any questions for Lanfear?

Your band is named after a character in a fantasy novel series (Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time), which is cool. What role or influence does fantasy or literature have in your band's music or lyrical approach?

Ok, so what exactly is the story behind "The Reverend"? The song is so powerful... almost like it's personal. Or is it simply something that reflects what's been in the news over the past few years? And HOW THE HELL did you guys find the inspiration to create an album that is so unbelievably dark, yet somehow insightful, while overflowing with this amazing "restrained" rage? Where did this all come from? Are your personal lives this twisted, or is it just a vivid imagination?

And the obvious... how excited are you guys about playing ProgPower USA? Has our festival been on your wish list?

I also have to ask: I can't stop comparing Lanfear to Tomorrow's Eve. It's that melancholy style that creeps up and bites you on the ass. Any opinions here?

Finally - any chance we might see Nuno and Ray share a song (or scream) onstage? Or maybe a beer at the bar?

Thank you Lanfear for giving us "This Harmonic Consonance". We're looking forward to a killer set!

Greg, I'd like to know what caused them to make a drastic change from what I consider to be one of my top albums of all time in Zero Poems? Also, what happened to that singer; loved his voice! And then I have a statement "Play the old shit!" LOL

Seriously, all their stuff is great.....

So, I am bummed that I've never been able to hear Zero Poems, for instance, and following in another thread...how do they feel about the "alternate" methods of music delivery, such as website downloads, burning their own cd's, thumb drives with more than one album on it, etc?

Also, what happened to that singer; loved his voice!

He released an album under the name Zhorn called Z Comes First that continues somewhat in the vein of Zero Poems. Its good but not great, not as heavy as Zero Poems was. Beyond that I not aware of him doing anything else.
