any tips on headphone/mini amps!?

i am looking for a mini/headphone amp as a present.
it should have clean and distortion/rock tones,
effects would be nice but it's not a must.

the only ones i know is the pocket pod and the palmer pocket amp,
which does not sound that good from what i've heard on youtube.

a little combo would be ok also but it HAS to have a headphone out.

any ideas?
