Anyone a registered user at Demonoid.com?

that is what i'm talking about.. lol.. people read/hear what they want to.... at NO point did i say i wanted to DEBATE ANYTHING... i do not care at all to debate whether one should or shouldn't download. i personally do not and think that no one who wants to be a producer or artist should either, that's my personal choice...to obey the law... do as you will, not like i could stop you even if i were inclined to try, which i'm not.. Copyright infringement is illegal though and what constitutes copyright infringement is very clearly stated in the laws against it. that is a fact, not debatable.... thus, no debate.

don't make me call the magical interweb authorities on ya now....

"Franks and Beans, Franks and Beans!"

haha..... good stuff.... nevermind that yet another person has completely ignored that i have clearly stated that I DO NOT CARE what you do illegally, legally or otherwise. don't care

don't care

don't care

don't care

there... now i can't wait for the next person to come along and say something like "i only download stuff that blah blah blah and so i disagree with you jibba jabba jibba jabba...", so i'll have the fun of typing once again how i don't care and that i was only stating that the laws are fairly clear. that's gonna be awesome... so excited for this that i'm sitting on the edge of my seat.

I absolutely agree with what you said James!

I just thought this thread was about Demonoid, not about illegal downloading....
being a registered demonoid-member doesn't make you an illegal downloader.
although you're probably right and most of the 15 year old use it for that kinda stuff......

Now come on... You're just lying here... It is as likely as being struck by lightning
twice on your way to claim the money you've won at the lottery...
ok.... whatever you say guy.

i'd post pics of my CD and vinyl collections but they would fill a page on this thing... and as far you believing anything i say, you know what?

i don't care. :Smug:

but i will point out that i HATE the sound of mp3s and refuse to listen to them on more than the most cursory basis. When i encode music for my iPod i use AAC... the cymbals, and everything else about them, just sound better. and from what i've seen, 99.9% of lllegal music is encoded as low-mid kbps mp3s... *shudder* btw, because of the nature of digital audio, specifcally the anti-aliasing frequencies in hi bit-rate formats (waves, aiff, SDII, etc.) Vs. those of mp3s, you can damage your hearing with mp3s. Those frequencies are out of the audible spectrum with full res digital audio.... but they come down enough to damage high frequency hearing with habitual listening with mp3s (this is a simplified explanation of a complex phenomenon and i DON"T CARE whether you believe it or not)... not going to do that to myself purposely. You rock on wit yo bad self though.;)

I wasn't specifically talking about mp3, I'm just saying that you probably have
something illegal on your mac... whether it's a cracked plugin or software...

Then again, I did not mean for this to be a dialogue between two persons, I
was just, originally, replying to the other guy... I'm not into guilt trips...
I hate it when I go to a movie and some light tech guy speak on the screen
before the flick about how internet piracy has killed his wife and kids... For
all I know this dude keeps kiddy porn and 1000's of mp3s on his computer...

Do you have any internet sources discussing that? I can't seem to find any information on it.
