Seems like a cool device. I've done a similar thing using my Pc and audio interface. The only problem is vocals are usually too loud even without a mic, especially in heavy music.

Yeah an audio interface would work just as good for me......IF we had Edrums, solidstate amps (or pods or whatever) and a quiet singer.

This thing just seems kinda dumb to me. I'm surprised it doesn't have some built in Ipod shit and called Ijam.

I can see why this is useful ...its like 4 or 5 separate 5 track mixers all linked together in parallel just try and imagine that for a spiders nest leads galore.
Its basically a 5 track monitor desk shrunk into a tiny box .
you could probably use this to control powered monitors as well.

They make a 7 ch. version as well.

For the money and portability factor I would think this is easier and designed better than an audio interface for this purpose. The guy is a little bit of a chode .

Seems pretty cool for those who don't already have a multi input/output interface and a DAW. As FT say's this could possibly be used in a live setup too.
