Anyone familiar with Pod Farm?

I'm doing some home recording. I've done a few things by myself and they don't sound too bad... But I want to know how to make the best of electronic guitar sound.
I am aiming for enough power to carry some Melodic riffs (i.e. Darkest Hour) and still have decent break down clarity.

Any help is appreciated

Make use of the tube screamer pedal as a boost and use the graphic equalizer to pick out the tone you like. The equalizers on the amp models are pretty weak.
