So I have a new band coming in on Sunday, and with a fried audiofire12, I am kind of up shit creek... a friend of mine has an m-audio delta1010 (the rackmount one) but he doesn't have the PCI card that it connects to.

any ideas?

then you have a problem...the rack unit is just for for the mic connections...you need the PCI to run the rack unit. so the rack unit is useless...

yes yes I know :(

this is why I need to find someone who has the PCI card and is willing to part with it.

I wish.

That's the 1010lt, which seems like a glorified computer soundcard as opposed to genuine audio interface to me.

The real 1010 has a rackmount box that connects to a PCI card(which is not the 1010lt card, unfortunately :() much like the digidesign HD systems.

You may have to resgister in order to contact this guy or I can try and do it for you. Anyway, here's his ad.

Up for sale is my used M-Audio Delta 1010 sound card About 5 years old, all works great. Cosmetically, it is in very good shape too, with some typical rack wear on the rack unit.

Price is $200, including PayPal and ground shipping in the cont USA.
I no longer have the driver CD, but you'll want to download the latest drivers for your specific Mac or Windows computer anyway. I do not have the orig box, but it will be packed well for shipping.

Included is:

* Delta PCI Card for Mac or Win
* Delta 1010 rackmount breakout box (with S/PDIF)
* Multipin connector cable (connect PCI to breakout box)
* AC Power supply cord (inline transformer)
