I just bought an Edirol UM-1ex 1x1 MIDI->USB interface for $39 brand new at Sam Ash. Running an electronic-kit/DDrum Pro triggers into a DM-5, then MIDI out to the Edirol to trigger DFHS/EZD in Cubase. Works perfectly.

Yeah, I'm looking at that, and the M-audio Uno and MIDISport 2x2. But if I can find someone who wants to be rid of theirs for some paypalage, then hey, two people are helped Plus, secondhand is like recycling.

Or, I'm just a cheap bastard

The used ones on eBay go for more than what new ones go for, once the overpriced shipping is tacked on
