i have the xboard, i like it the latency is the only issue i have with it. otherwise it works pretty nicely.

get novation or evolution, u cant miss
i have an evolution mk449c , works great .
also the new m-audio are worth checking out (since they practically borrowed the display and faders from the evolutions)

I have the M-Audio Keystation 49e, use it through usb, and I can't hear anything as far as latency problems, is cheap and does the job well imo.

I've got the keystation too and I've been happy. I'm far from being a serious kbd player, but it gets the job done for me.

I've been playing leads on it and it keeps up well enough even during fast sections.

mk-449c seems be very interesting, could u tell me if those 10 assignable buttons can work like: one button u start a sample beat another one u start another sample and so on? does the faders work well assignabled? i found that very interesting cuz u can get many assignable options....
