saw this band this past weekend at a friend's new club and they were pretty damn awesome. kind of don cab/flying luttenbachers stuff, only not necessarily as weird as either of those. just a bassist, drummer (who was damn good), and keyboardist/effects guy. no vox. just wondered if anyone had checked them out before.
also, went to soulard's mardi gras fest with the polish buds this weekend. supposedly the 2nd largest mardi gras fest outside of new orleans- and it was indeed packed. the hurricane i had sucked, though. st. louis is beginning to look more promising tho.
