Anyone heard the Nuclear Blast Allstar CD allready?

Hey folks!
I just took myself some time and took my ears onto the (edit->)*new* Nuclear Blast Allstar preview of "Out of the dark"... I really dig the songs and the production (by P. Wichers / Ex-Soilwork as most of you will know ), esp. the snare got my attention on this one

So: Any opinions?

Yeah i've been listening too this.
Some great songs on there.
Production is a bit of a mixed bag i think:
Guitars sound awesome (remind me a bit of end of heartache tonewise), as do vocals but drums r a bit raw and dry sounding to me. Snare and toms mostly, sound ok but not as great as the rest of it.

There´s a song that starts with drums only, there I don´t like`em either,
but on the rest they´re pretty well done for me.

the drums remind me of old fredman production. My only problem with it, is it's all power metal. At least the roadrunner one spanned a few styles.

Hm, I wouldn´t call this stuff power metal at all... are you sure?
Just want to make sure that we´re all talking about the "Out of the dark", not the older "Into the light" stuff..

i think i was referring to nuclear blast - into the light.

i didn't even realize there was another one.

That´s possibly caused by it´s release-date (September 21st for Europe)

I heard the first three songs and like them musically. Didn't get the chance to check out the production as I listened to it on small speakers only but at least it sounded good on them!
