there are som really good presets in there already. I like the Rock presets. Just add your favourite compressor to it and maybe some distortion and you have yourself an awesome sound

Some nice Ampeg cab impulses here, I bet they would sound nice with IK Ampeg - although I've not tried it.

I'm not sure how similar IK Ampeg is to their other products, but I've used them with IK Amplitube 2 with everything bypassed but the amp section, then into Boogex (with one of the impulses loaded) and added a bit of compression afterwards.

Sounds very Ampeg to my ears.
