Its heavy as hell, the trademark wall of sound etc; but I dont like it all that much. For the first time a SYL album is lacking in those crazy addictive riffs or grooves that could go on for ten minutes and entertain me. Plus except for one song, it all sounds quite similar, unlike earlier material. I dont know, I may change my mind after a few more listens.

I've heard it a few times but haven't really come around to it yet. Gene Hoglan does kick all kinds of ass on it as usual though. Been listening to the new Nightrage more often actually (an album that leaked about the same time as Alien)
