I'll search, but I've recently got a little trouble with mine.

Essentially they're making some weird buzz / hum noise when they're sitting idle which can be heard from 1ft away..
They didn't do this before - but just have begun to do this.
I've posted up on other forums, and I've changed every cable - position and power supply that i can.
Just wondered if I've suddenly begun to notice, or if they've developed a fault.

I have this problem with my M-Audio BX8as and I've determined it to be interference coming through my Firewire bus from my hard drive. Better speakers are going to be more sensitive to this kind of interference, I've found. Try turning them on without your computer running? And make sure you're using balanced cables to go to your speakers.

still the problem without the computer being on (and the computer being 20 ft away)..
And cables are balanced, and I've even used unbalanced cables to the same effect [hum/noise].

Turn them on but don't feed them any signal from your soundcard with the pot on the back to the max.

If they put out that kind of hum that's because its coming from the monitors, if not its coming from the soundcard or the chain before.

I don't mean to sound rude, but I know the noise is coming from the monitors - since it happens when they're sitting with no signal running through them ("sitting idle").
Also, the noise is NOT affected by how loud the monitors are, it's a constant buzz which is louder than RFI.
