I'll be honest here... i don't understand why yanni gets such a bad reputation. His music is pretty good for chilling out to and relaxing. He may look like a cheesy 70's porn star, but he's good at what he does.

All you people laughing. Listen to the beginning of "Enemy Within." Are you telling me that's not ****ing ridiculous? It doesn't have to be outright brutal death metal or anything to be extreme. No other band I've heard has done something that chaotic. Not to mention you are completely coming off as insulting jackasses, so back off.

No seriously, it doesn't have to be brutal death metal to be "extreme", but biomechanical ain't extreme.

I don't exactly think that they are the most extreme band, but I do personally think they are more intense than any death or black metal band these days. Enemy Within is fucking intense, also Truth Denied and Survival are brutal and Disintegration has some amazing musicianship and I think any musician can respect that. Also from Eight Moons just listen to Point Of No Return and tell me its not heavy.
If you havn't heard anything that chaotic I recomend you check out Alien by Strapping Young Lad, that album is chaos from beginning to end.
But yeah love em or hate em it doesn't bother me, I think they are great and I think their new album will be something to look forward to.
