Anyone use Guitar Rig?

I've been all over the net trying to find some presets similar to the old guitar lead sound during hatebreeder/follow the reaper, and i've been fucking around with my own presets for ages and i still can't get a good sound. Can anyone give me any presets or any help making my own? thanks

I tried it, but it didn't work well. output latency was too high on my soundcard.

sure it's good to have some point but alexi settings won't help him in any way cuz they'll not sound even similar with his amp...
i know it from a buddy...he even owns sansamp 1.1 but he can't get the sound sound alexi has...no fukken way

What would you say if he wanted a Zakk Wylde tone, a Steve Vai tone, a Jason Becker tone.. why not an EVH tone? Heck, any guitarist's tone. What would you have said then? I'm tired of people bashing others because they want Alexi's tone, his guitar or anything that has to do with Alexi. You were one of the biggest fanboys ever, before you moved on to someone else.

He CAN get the same tone with something else. It just requires tweaking and playing with sounds.

It's basically the sound equipment (Amps, toneports, pedals, effects, etc.) you have. ( I THINK )

Guitar rigs (the program) is probably a toneport capable of baking a lot of effects .

i have heard really really good fucking things about it, though i don't use it myself. I know a guy, he makes his living off of his home studio, and he swears by it.

i suppose you just had some bad experience and scrapped it. someone even posted a clip in the ZOMG GUITAR PLAYERS THREAD, though I forget who, of some German dude who recorded strictly with plugins and had a kickass tone. so stfu sacrimonious cunt

guitar rig allows you to use it as stand alone
I was very much NOT impressed with Revalver Mk II, the sounds you can make with it just not that great imo
