Anyone Use NI Guitar Rig 2?

i've been trying to use this to record for a year or so and haven't had much luck getting an awesome tones. Is it possible or should i just give up with it?

I live in an apartment and i dont think my neighbors want me cranking up my 5150 stack. I'm able to get good drum sounds with Toon Track Metal Foundry. Just need to figure out what to do for guitars.

those sound pretty good. Will they work on a MAC? I use logic 8.

no, they are PC only....the first sentence on their website says that lol
