great you guys like it! took me some time to get it there. but it's absolutely worth it!


edit: don't mind the end of the song (it's going to be around 8 minutes long in the end ). I had some trouble getting a tom sound I like so I just put some beats at the and had them in a loop.

This. I have been replacing all the snare kick and toms and it sounds REALLY fuckin good.

same thoughts here. although the toms aren't bad. I think the cymbals sound way, way better than the slate cymbals though... so I'll be using metal foudnry for overheads/cymbals, and blending/replacing slate samples for the drums

This sounds really really slick man.
Really love the ping in the snare and how large the kick sounds at the begining of the track.

Any chances of finding out how you got M.F to sound this nice ?

Matter of taste I think... as always in music. I don't have the metal foundry yet, but I really like the EZdrummer plugin and expansions.

I use it. I like it a lot. Sounds very natural, so if you're looking for über-processed sounds for real drum replacement, it's not for you.
