Simply put....It makes Faces Of Death look like a "G" rated movie!!
The violence in this movie is AWESOME!!! It's actually the only reason to see it! Unless you're one of those people who like reading their movies...(I'm not!!)

saw it, fuckin loved it....great story. sub titles dont phase you after 10 mins, cause there really isnt much dialogue. violent, top notch...action top notch. i thought it was going to be mor egory than the the passion but it wasnt...there was a scene where youre like..."here it comes" but it didnt touch the whip scene in the passion. but holy shit, was it good.

Saw Apocalypto last night and their cello version of Master Of Puppets was awesome..oops..

Saw the movie and me being a history Prof I really looked forward to it. And I wasn't dissapointed. The Mayans were portrayed both visually and culturally correct except for a few instances that I won't go into because they are just picky details. Great Action, a look into how savage the world really was. A high recommend for anyone who loves history and action.

It's no Planet Of The Apes Or Beneath The Planet of the Apes but still a high recommend.

Gibson made a great film.
