Apogee Duet Micing

Hey Guys...i would like to know can i mic up my mesa roadster using shure sm57 through apogee duet into my garageband?..is that allright?and will the sound quality be good?....anybody have experience and suggestion bout micing cabinet through apogee duet please tell me...

The apogee duet ->garageband bit isn't the thing to be worrying about, other than just getting it working fine.

The actual positioning of the mic.....use the search function on here and you'll find many threads on the subject, full of good advice
