Hey fellows.

I can get my hands on a Apogee Duet 2 or Audient iD22 for pretty much the same price.
The Duet is second-hand and Audient is B-Stock from a music reseller.

I'm for a nice portable recording rig.

The Duet is offcourse awesome but I think it's a little downside that it has to contain a lot of breakout cables, where as I know the Audient is pretty good as well plus it has more outputs . Which is more beneficial when I have to take my gear with me to re-amp somewhere else for instance.

Your input is very much appreciated guys!

I love my Duet 2 but assuming the drivers are good for the ID22 and you need more ins/outs, you might as well get that; it's much more flexible in terms of ins/outs and has some added monitor/headphone type features.

That said, it won't solve your cable-on-the-desk issue since it's not something you'd want tucked away given the controls, and all the connectivity is on the back of the unit (including power).
