Arcturus question (I know this isn't really Borknagar related...)

Hello!! First of all I wanna wish all of you a happy 2005!!

Anyway, I got a question about Arcturus.Asgeir, maybe you can confirm this rumor?
I've read on the Arcturus board that Oyvind has left Arcturus, and that Simen is back!! So, can anyone confirm this? I love the sound of Vortex and it would be really cool if he's back to Arcturus.

mmm dunno what to think... i really would like to have simens in the band, but oyvind was doing well... anyway,vortex has never been in the band, he only did guest vocals in la masquerade

to quote the webmaster: "I can confirm that Oyvind has left the band" according to terrorizer Vortex will be covering his duties on their london gig Tho unless he's quit Dimmu I doubt this is going to be permenant. Oyvind seemed to be doing so well too, ah well Vortex is miles better but I still maintain they should get Monika (ex Atrox) as a permenant singer.

I know what you mean, it'd be unpopular but she'd give Arcturus a completely new direction to go in and could easily perform any of Arcturus' old songs.

I'm a superfan of Atrox with Monika, and if the new singer is Monika i'm very happy,i agree should be the perfect element for a new direction in the music of Arcturus and she's perfect for the crazy spirit of the band.

Anyway, this is no good news. I never liked Simen's voice that much, so for me it is definetely a step back.

I should stress the Monika thing is just a "who I would like to have stepped up" its not even a rumour. As for SA... apparently Oyvind has moved to Sweeden... this is just a rumour at the mo, but its thus far the only explanation offered,

Dimmu Borgir has taken a break from touring/music writing, so I don't think that'll be a problem.

Vortex makes a very good frontman for Arcturus, I saw them at the Underworld in London, they were amazing
