AS A YOOF I WOULD STAND OUTSIDE RECORD SHOPS WAITING FOR THEM TO OPEN.WHE THEY DID I WOULD RUSH IN AND BUY THE LATEST SAXON ALBUM.NOW WHEN I GOT HOME AND HOME AND DROP NEEDLE ONTO RECORD(GOOD OLE LONG PLAYS)I WOULD TRY LEARN THE WORDS.SAXON NEVER PRINTED LYRICS UNTIL CRUSADER.SOOOOO WHAT DID YOU THE FIRST TIMES YOU HEARD THEM CLASSICS .
PRINCESS OF THE NIGHT

SEE THAT STUPID IRON HORSE 20 YEARS AGO

Can't say I've misheard any Saxon lyrics (that I know of!). But a few years ago I was listening to a radio programme and they were talking about misheard lyrics. A woman phoned in and said that for years she thought the Ray Parker Jnr song 'Ghostbusters' went - "Who you gonna call, those bastards"

That always makes me laugh when I think of it!

Felamid, that is really funny:lol:

question is has any body ever re written a Saxon song with say rude lyrics instead of the real ones or just turned it into a really funny song..

now there is a challenge..
right i'm off to try a few re writes the funnier the better if you wanna have a go folks... lets see if we can raise a few laughs??

:D :D

Now I found one song in Denim & Leather, I thought Biff singed ''did you killed for your ticket through the ica and snow''!!! but it is: ''Did you queue for you ticket through the ice and snow!!! (I think it is queued?!)

d cant say i heard any from saxon,,,,, but have u heard,,,,,,,,,'the devils gott a 'SIDEBOARD, FOR MEEEE! (bohedian rapsady)....

and also,,,,,,,,, 'SHOULD I STA AND 'GONAD'.....' the Clash! lol

okay peter day, here's a rewrite of The Thin Red Line:

You came for the glory
To fight and to die
You stood in the english mile
Remember the heroes
When stories are told
They died in the english mile

In I can't wait anymore where it goes "I was a fool to fall to your lies" I first thought Biff sang "I was a fool to poop on your lies"!
