I've been playing for about 6-7 years or so, and I play all the time. My gear is:

-a guitar
-an amp
-a couple of leads

almost 9 years........

equip-
Jackson performer
Gibson SG
Larivee Acoustic
Guild Acoustic
Marshall DSL 100 JCM 2000 head
Marshall 1960A 4x 12 cab
Rocktron Chameleon preamp...

Yes. I play guitar, no idea for how long but I'd guess 9 years or so? (estimate, could be 1 year out either side :D )

Anyway, the gear I am currently stockpiling is...
1 Ibanez Universe
1 Ibanez RG2027 (with piezos, and a 7string, yay!!!!!!!!!!!!)
1 Ibanez JemBSB
1 Ibanez RG5something, temporarily on a swap with my s540
1 Ibanez RG???????? Bastardised guitar...needs a bridge, in pieces currently
1 BCRich Warlock (usa, on it's last legs, desperately needs a new bridge)
2 PRS Standard 24's

Then for Amplification:
1 Mesa Triaxis Preamp
1 Rivera TBR1 Rack Mount Head
1 Laney 15w practice amp
1 Rocktron Hush SuperC
1 Boss GT5
1 Korg DTR1 Tuner
2 Marshall 4x12's

That is the current gear list, It's a bit large but everything has a purpose (apart from the guitars too knackered to sell)

You could say I am a tad obsessed...oh, and poor ;)

how are those to play after being an ibanez devotee for years?

i just setup my thru-neck kelly pro in B to experiment with some other ideas. B feels cool on that guitar - especially with the 52-10 gauge. something strange is going on with the EMGs but i think it's just the battery that needs changing.

Probably played guitar for 12 years now? Maybe? I lost count.

i play guitar a couple of hours a day or so, i've been playing it for about 3 years. lately i've been concentrating on violin more than guitar.. played it for 10 years.

Been playing for almost 7 years.

Main guitars:

Ibanez RG7620
Takamine classical

Other guitars:

Yamaha classical
B.C. Rich Acrylic Mockingbird
Peavey Predator
Fender Squire Strat

Amps:

Fender Champion 110

Change the battery! It'll make all the difference ;)

The PRS feel fine, but i miss the ibanez' still, but they are nice, in fact, they have made me loose my fear of finished necks now! I may even get a gibson at some stage  , still, would prefer ibby's, and am still a devotee ;)

You people own way too much equipment

I own:

*An acoustic Palmer guitar ( i know, bizarre brand, not even the store i bought it from has any record of every having the guitar O.O )

*An electric B.C. Rich Rave II Warlock guitar ( alot better than the Bronze,
not as good as the NJ, kind of in between )

*A Digitech RP200 multi effects unit ( it is more than enough for me )

*A Peavy studio pro 112 amp ( early model, the second one ). It is kind of old right now so that MIGHT be the only thing that needs upgrading.

*One guitar cable ( yes i am missing a guitar cable so im running the multi effects unit directly to my home stereo right now...i know, i need a cable )

Thats plently and enough for me, it should be for most people not in a professional level, you people like to waste money.
