Are You In A Band?

I am the Bassist with VR, CHASTAIN, and WildeStarr.
I just finished the bass tracks on the new VR CD last month, and the record should be done soon. Brad Gillis (Ozzy, Night Ranger)and James Rivera (Hellstar) are now in the band along with original members Geoff Thorpe, Larry Howe, and myself.
Dave :)

And how the hell would you know? He's obsessive about it. It is his passion, and he's been playing since he was 12-ish.

I'm not saying he is passionate or not. I think when someone goes to music school you have higher standards and expectation of that persons music upon hearing it. When you have never been to music school you think of the possibilities. I would really take advantage of it finding my own distinct style. That's just me. Some people have different outlooks on how they write music or what they're trying to accomplish.

He's actually very concerned with strange chord progressions and creating unique structures and what not.. I don't really know what you're talking about. He is good at what he does. It's just not what you're into, which is cool.

james rivera =

him and my old boss were good friends until rivera got all douchey... i did merch/security for helstar a few times when they were in town, and he was always just wandering around thinking he was teh badass while playing to a crowd of like 17 people...

then when he was in 7 Witches my band was opening for them... they pushed everyone else on the show back like an hour and a half (none of our friends were even there yet when we played) because they said they had to go on early so they could leave in time to make the next show, and they then proceeded to not only NOT go on early, but in fact go on 30 FUCKING MINUTES LATER than they were originally scheduled for.

fuck james rivera.

Sorry about that. It was before my time with James. Since I have known him (about 6 months) he has been a great friend to me, and he has done a great job with us in VR.
