Everytime I step into a church I step out pissed off, even if it is a marriage or christening(sp?) or something inoffensive like that. I try to steer clear of any denomination of church/temple/whatever..

ADD makes me fidget and squirm during the sermons. either that or its the angst in my pants.

I go to synagogue a few times a year.

I'll say one thing...there is a large jewish community only blocks from my neighborhood, where I go to the library...and on sabbath day saturday, many of the jews walk with their families to and from the synagogue...and the men have the absolute coolest hats.

i live in an Orthodox Jewish neighbourhood. i see those hats every day.

I have this wild fantasy of having my buddy drive me down the street and me leaning out and (hopefully avoiding lampposts/trees) snatching a hat from someone's head.

I would never do it, of course, its one of those nutty ideas that pop unbidden into my consciousness.

i go to church willingly, and so does jake. don't let him tell you otherwise. xmas eve is the candlelight service and you sing a bunch of xmas songs. what's wrong with that?

I went on x-mass eve. Instead of a pageant they had a 45 minute puppet show. It was painful. But usually I don't mind going on christmas.

My mom knows better than to ever ask me to go to church. All it'll result in is a huge lengthy heated discussion afterwards that's much better off avoided. But really, no one in my family partakes in any religious activities much. My mom goes to church with my younger siblings on xmas eve only and my dad never goes to temple.

yeah, well, i wasn't happy about being forced to go during my years of teenage rebelliousity (which went into the post-teenage years a little. i'm a little immature). but now i wish i had just shut up and gone. not for religious reasons, but because it's a pretty small thing and it makes my mom really happy to have the whole family there and it's only a few times a year.
