Arghoslent - Rape of a Slave

if that's what you like in death metal, then yeah, they are the band for you. Incorrigible Bigotry is easy to find. however, it will be hard to find one of the other 999 copies of both Galloping among the Battle Ruins and Arsenal of Glory.

I can never be sure if their lyrics are 100% serious, though.

I think they are serious. First they are from the South; Second they are small labels that will accept such hateful music; and third, have you been to the website? If they werent serious, I think they would have toned it down and found a bigger label. These guys have been around 10 years, and have had a very difficult time releasing their music.

You all know how I feel about this band, ABSOLUTE WINNAGE!

Nice choice picking "Quelling the Simian Surge," that song is pretty much perfect. Incorrigible Bigotry is one of my Top 25 albums ever and I agree the others aren't quite as good. The production doesn't make them as forceful, but the music is still top-notch.

Ironically, this band sounds even more killer when driving by a Texas cotton field. :loco: Cue the self-righteous, easily-offended majority. :p

Oh yeah, Incorrigible Bigotry can be found here Graveless Slumber Records for $10. They used to have a package deal with a massive amount of Arghoslent stuff, but they've sold out of most everything. Part of it was the Galloping Through the Battle Ruins vinyl, that thing is gorgeous.

you think? sounds like riffmaster death metal to me. at times, I get an Asphyx vibe.

the first song is the better one IMO.

yeah, now that I heard that first song also. It has that bouncy, marching riffing style. Maybe I heard too much Screwdriver and watched American History X too many times ... but there is definetelly that flavor there.
