In fact no it is not, as someone said earlier in this thread (maybe it was me) the falsetto really serves the whole atmosphere in a decadent, uncaring way. And there is little enough of it anyway not to reduce the whole album to this "peculiarity".

"49 Evil Spirits" is one of the best songs of the year IMO, no kidding.

It has THAT UNBELIEVABLE RIFF (repeating twice I think) that makes the song such a lovelorn rhapsody of black metal.
