ARMORED SAINT Confirmed For Germany's BANG YOUR HEAD!!! Festival

Reunited California-based metallers ARMORED SAINT, who feature in their ranks (former?) ANTHRAX singer John Bush and current FATES WARNING bassist Joey Vera, have been confirmed for next year's installment of the Bang Your Head!!! festival, set to take place June 23-24, 2006 in Balingen, Germany. The festival billing is shaping up as follows (in alphabetical order):

ARMORED SAINT last performed live on July 30, 2005 at the Dodge Theater in Phoenix, Arizona as the opening act for the SCORPIONS. It is not presently clear if plans exist for the band to begin work on a new studio album. The group's last CD, "Revelation", came out in 2000 on the Metal Blade label.

Great news! I just hope either one of the big Finnish metal festivals books the Saint as well, because Germany is pretty far away... Not likely though.

Anyway, good to see they're not dead. The new studio album is only a matter of time...
