As I lay dying - an ocean between us recording...

Anyone's got any info on what guitars they recorded with? LP's with EMG 85's as they used to have in the past?

He still doesn't mention if he was using 85's or 81's, tho. I guess he means Nick's white Ibanez LACS ART, but as far as I know, that one has an 81...

didn't Andy say they used a LP with stock pups for shadows?
 
crazy, losing even a few days work would be just awful. I wonder what they were thinking.

then again I know of one major pop artist in particular that doesn't let the engineers make backups once his voice is on the track. He doesn't want more than one copy out there..
