Jerry did you check out Degradation Trip vols. 1 & 2? Fuck the single disc album, get the double.

I used to consider myself a huge grunge fan, but then when I went through a whole '90s revival a few years ago quickly realized that outside of Nirvana and Alice in Chains I really have a casual interest in the overall genre. Granted, there are some awesome bands, but there is some real crap as well. I think Badmotorfinger is a perfect microcosm of the whole thing: Slaves and Bulldozers is absolutely AMAZING, still one of the best songs I've ever heard. Yet half that album is shite.

I have zero interest in the new Alice in Chains. Might check it out eventually. Maybe.
