Audacity, Cubase 5, Reaper 4 64 bit. I love reaper, its awesome in so many aspects, I have a sweet theme as well (reaborn), PROTOOLS intrigues me, it always has, but the thing is, is a lot of my software that I use is VST, perhaps in the future, but for now REAPER is the best DAW imo.
Started with analog stuff years ago but as far as DAW's go:
Guitar Tracks Pro
then Cakewalk SONAR for the past several years. (Currently X1 Producer)
Dabbled in Reaper a little...
Started in the analog world as well but as far as DAWs.
Cool Edit Pro
Protools- Started right before PT5.0 came out till PT10
Logic- 6/7- For like a 18 months I used it but just couldn't get used to it at all.
Nuendo 5.5/Cubase 5.0 - What I'm using now in addition to PT
Reaper- messed around a little but nothing to major.
not necessarily DAW's per say (or at least in my use of them), but I also use Recycle/Reason, Ableton Live.
i started with Fl studio 7 did understand a shit on it...than Fl studio 9 ...i got a little hand on it...than fl studio 10.. preety useless shit too eccept some effects.. and the piano roll
than after a year moved to Mixcraft 5 than Nuendo 4... than cubase 5
Finally Reaper 4...
1st thing I recorded was with the windows sound recorder
Cool edit pro 2.0, then sometime later audition when it was renamed, stuck with that until cubase 3sx, then Cubase 5 and now PT10.
Still like cubase for midi.
Also have used Logic 9 and Reason. Reason is cool, but I'm not that much into that kind of electro stuff. I can't stand Logic though.
