That sucks ass.... But it is probably for the better.
If they got back together, they would probably release something that would be sacreligious to the atheist name...
Aside from the fact that ATHEIST was ten years ago, the members would have changed personally, and there would be huge personal differences... and creative differences....
The same thing goes for a CYNIC get-together, it just wouldn't work anymore.

But at the same time it would be cool to hear how they would sound like now! hehe
But it's true, a reunion would be a bit tedious maybe.
It would be a creation for open mided, i guess.
Everyone who claims to be an open minded fan of music, and not a closed minded, sticky, smelly, hairy, satan's child Metalhead would undertake it as an exceptional piece of music, knowing their capabilities and their talent in song writing.
I wouldn't worry for that release. I would go straight and buy it.
