Looking for more bands in these particular "sub genres"

Just throw as many names as you can at me and ill check em out myself. I'm talking about bands like Agalloch, Fen, Ellende, Mirrorthrone, Summoning, Dammerfarben etc.

Ill make a list of all the bands I have already checked out ( that's probably ALOT ) later, as i'm tired as fuck.

I think this is my favorite non Brutal/Slam genre and will probably remain that way as long as I live, the emotion in this music is exactly how music should be done.

Id suggest you try Hellveto. Best i could describe the sound is symphonic (pagan) black metal with a highly medieval feel.

Not sure if its really what you're looking for, but try this song.
