ATTN: Drummers

dorian - i have an electronic drumset that has been in my garage for years. its all there except for the module (prob $100-150 i'd say). if you're interested in the electronic thing, hit me up and i'll basically give it to you. i figure that might work out for a guy with a wife/child

You are awesome. I was very much into getting an electronic drumset when I lived with my parents back in the day but I really want an acoustic set. I'll think about taking this set off your hands though. Whereabouts do you live again?

haha man

just get it some pine cones and sticks and call it a day

stimulates imagination, builds character

in sweden kids play with pine cones and matchsticks to make "kottgrisar"

see they kinda look like farm animals? you can do this with your kid it will be a wholesome family activity

also those pine cones might be fun and all but they don't make you the king of the casle like the uber grande swing set.
American kids need toys that make them look down upon worthless children.

that shit builds world domination aspirations ...

pine cones ...

i don't know if this is communist sweden or what but here we have community/municipality owned swing sets and playgrounds everywhere so there's no need for anyone to buy their own honestly

we teach kids the value of cooperation, sharing and playing well with others :)

If you don't have children, it's difficult to understand. Yes, we have parks and several of them are within a short drive. They are all very nice and filled with wealthy Jews but it gets incredibly annoying to have to get in the car to drive to a park when all you want is some peace and fucking quiet. That's where the homeowner's playset can help. Three year old grating on your nerves? Send them into the fenced back yard and let them have at it.

In a medium sized city such as this, you really only have a few housing options. There's the urban environ, and we've already done that if you recall my pics of a bulldozer a few feet off my back porch. People who live in urban areas with children are just asking for a tortuous existence. So, then you can choose one of the early suburbs that are quite close to the city but all the houses are from the 1940s or earlier and the prices are artificially inflated by the physicians, hipsters, and dual-incomers who live there. Then there's the satellite cities that are not even in the same county and those are for Mustang-driving rednecks. The last option is a 1960s suburb and so here we are. Only problem is that the 60s suburbs were designed to be as drastically different from city living as possible, as safe as possible, and as little walking as possible. Driving several miles to a park gets really old.

That concludes today's lecture on American cities. More later.
