google toolbar is awesome. That's the one to go with. Totally stays out of your way. I tried using AvantBrowser for awhile, but it's alot of stuff I didn't want in addition to the popup blocking.



(Since installing the google toolbar I have blocked 177 popups!)

I can't stand any external "toolbar"

I use zonealarm as a firewall and it also blocks popups well.

on my old comp (rip), total popups blocked: approx. 350K, total security breach attempts: around 2M

I meant external by not built into the browser. A while ago I went through a bunch of school computers and removed yahoo toolbar, and while I was at it, I removed the yahoo accounts of whoever was still logged in to it.
