Yes, I got a Western Digital 120Gb external hard disk for $80. I've yet to get an MP3 player just because I haven't been on the road for a while so it would have just sat there. Come June and I'll be in the market for an MP3 portable. These things tend to drop in price on almost month-by-month basis.

Haha I'd noticed Play.com is now selling 256mb MP3 player/pen drives for £17.99

I've just finished ripping my CD collection - it took a while, but it's really cool, I'm loving how easy listening to music is with my small 1gb MP3 player/ flash drive Plus I've still got 100gb free on my 200gb external. Muchos fun...

I got mine for £90. If you buy a player and SD memory card seperately you can get them down to £60... Bloody cheap, in other words. But I'd imagine they'll be insanely cheap in a few month's time!

Actually, if I remember right, the offer was $80 for the 100Gb, and $100 for the 120Gb.

And I'll probably splash out $70 and get something like this:

It's a SanDisk 512Mb, so it'll do me fine.
