Audio capture software?

hey, does anyone know of a PC program that can capture audio from either the web or whatever you're doing on your computer? On mac i think there's audiohack or something, but i need a PC program.

or a video one that also captures audio will work. Fraps maybe? i don't know if it captures audio though.

For internet explorer: Tools->Internet Options->Browsing History->Settings-> View Files->find audio/video files or sort them by date.

For other stuff you can route things so that you can record in your DAW, but it depends on your interface, with my E-mu 1616m you can do that.

What exactly do you want to capture?

my friends are doing a webcast thing and i figured i'd capture it for them.

how do you do it with audacity? i already have it installed.

route back into input of interface..

some have got a loopback-function. (RME Multiface), some need a hardware loopback...
either way, shouldn't be a problem
