if your after something cheap, try the Terratec Phase 88. I have the small breakout box version, not the newer rack version. Running on a Athlon 2500XP+ and Sonar 4 with no issues.

LOOk, hears the deal, first off, save your money! dont buy anything cheap, or even remote to recording with an inexpensive pc. SAVE your money. DUDE, you should really either, A, do what razor jack said and get a mac! OTHERWISE, SAVE your money and go have a professional record you. it will get much more attention and come out sounding a million times better. send me an email and i can get you started in the right direction. OH and 1 more tip, if you really wanna have your own recording stuff but cant afford the good stuff, SAVE your money and go to a recording SCHOOL! hope i could be of assistance. please, tell me what you think, i can help. later
