lol, i think the amp was more than that, and thats not counting the upgraded fucking tubes. $$$!

anyway, i paid $2,000 for the speakers, $350 for the stands, $900 for the CDP, and $2700 for the amp.

every item about half off retail price. all like new. these ppl treat their shit like gold. retail price dont mean shit nowadays anyway...them stores are like used car lots.

Abso-fucking-lutely. Like a car, I would never buy a brand new piece of audio gear. Unless I got it for the same price, obviously. Typically, it's in absolutely pristine condition too.

Hell no. I do it on my Denon micro system though. (listen to ipod thru it)
