I have no issue isolating noise from my cab at home, I have plenty of home made audio baffles that I use for dampening in various situations and they work great.

However. The bass that escapes from my cab must be unbearable for my neighbours. You can just feel it right through the floor all over the house, and I'm assuming a lot of that goes next door too.

Is the Auralex Gramma going to be a solution to this, or is it not going to be that effective?

Cinder blocks will couple the cab directly to the floor b/c of the density so they will likely exacerbate the issue. They are definitely perfect for solving other issues though (floor reflections).

Get those thick foam mats that people use for kids playpens and for martial arts. You'll get a pack of 4 for like 20€ and they work great for this purpose.

I use one for my cab. It definitely helps eliminate bass that rumbles through the floors. I can't hear a difference through a microphone, but it definitely helps for isolating the cabinet a bit if you're not the the only person in the house.

It tightens up my cab unless I am just going crazy

I have two Gramma's. LOVE THEM. Not only do they greatly reduce the amount of low end rumbling through my upstairs apartment, but that also translates into a more focused low end that is easier for me to dial in. I have one under my mesa 2x12 and one under my iso cab. I can tell you for sure that the iso cab rumbles much less with the Gramma underneath.... And at least in the US, they're only like $50... Just get one and be done with it.

What are your guys' experience with isolation with cabs that have wheels? Take the wheels off, put cinder blocks or gammas under them? My mesa OS on wheels rumbles pretty damn loud throughout the house even just under 3 on the 5150's post gain.
