Aus promoters don't get metal

Would Opeth have sold out another show or 2 for that matter. Well in the case of this band I think yes. They just do not get the feeling that drives us. Man I missed out. Why not two shows it seems a crime.

They will be coming back for Damnation. Mikael was saying nothing but praise during the Sydney gig, although he did it for every show in Australia. At the instore they were loving Australia. So I am pretty sure you will see them in September at the Enmore for you Sydney people. I was hoping Metro, but too small.. :\

paul murphy (infernal method manager) was saying way back in december that if he got the promotions for opeth, they would have been doing 2 shows in sydney, one over 18's, and when that sold out, an all ages show. which would have rocked. very hard.

Yeh he said that. Also said a gig hopefully at Club 77 the afternoon of the gig, telling only people the day before. But.. he didn't get it so.. one metro gig. Butt.. September Enmore is what I heard. So.. keep fingers crossed.

I spoke to Paul, he was informed by the abnd that they -may- be booking the enmore for september while they're out here.

As I mentioned on the petition thread... as good as All the gigs were (I wish I coulda made it to Sydney too!) Just sitting back and waiting for the announcement is a Bad, Baaaad idea. Mikael metioned that the fans here should keep hitting up the Management up for conformation if we wanted to ensure ourselves another tour. So I'm thinkin' that's not a bad idea.....

I really don't like the Enmore. I guess there's not many medium sized venues in Sydney that bands use. Maybe Selinas. Oh well, I would still go regardless
