Aussie Deathcore - Eye Impose Imposter

They just released their single tonight and I must say, I had a ball working on it! The drums were recording really poorly so the snare is 50/50, kick is 70/30 and toms are 50/50 with favor to the sample on Kick.

Was supposed to check this out when I saw it on facebook but I forgot.

I really liked the mix dude, its a nice contrast to some really headache-inducing mixes I've heard lately (Northlane, Schoenberg Automaton - as much as I like their music ) and even considering the samples and the tightly edited guitars (in those fast palm muted riffs atleast) I'd still say it has a 'natural' sound to it.

As for the music, I actually liked it but then again I don't have some deathcore prejudice.

Yeah, the editing was pretty full on, sadly because I didn't track it just wanted quite stringent a process as I would have liked, and for this stuff, being on top of getting it tight is important. I tried really hard to not overdo it so I'm glad it still comes across pretty well
