Australian tour

Now, I know there's got to be people out there who are as concerned/annoyed as I am about no announced prospects for an Australian Opeth tour.

I understand that Opeth were signed directly by the US division of RR and that they see their biggest market up in the United States, but I find it's getting ridiculous. So they've finished up with the Sounds of the Underground tour (to my knowledge) and now there's two European tours and ANOTHER US tour on the agenda.

I can understand that at times it may be easy to overlook that those two continents aren't the only two on the planet, nor the only two that harbor Opeth fans. However, since things are being planned quite a way ahead, I'm distressed at the very least that there's no Australian/NewZealand tours on the cards.

We're a part of market too damnit, and we demand satisfaction!

We'll get a tour, Jean. You know it. It might be a little later, but we will. In his notes on the official site, Akerfeldt himself has said he loves coming here and is amazed at the huge fanbase here.

They'll come, probably sooner than we think. Just wait it out.

Although, I do remember him saying in an interview that when he got to Brisbane he was surprised because he thought that only Tassies were supposed to be inbred & have two heads and didnt know that QLD'ers did too.

if they dont do an Australasian Tour, i will seriously resent them for it, theyre on Roadrunner now, which the claim will help them get more exposure over the world, so if they dont end up getting to Asutralia, where RR has a office based in, i will be seriously saying fuck Opeth and/or Roadrunner

It was nice though, the crowd was so peaceful and loving, I could just stand there and relax to the music. Well not exactly relax, but you know what I mean.
