Automation

what the hell is RTFM mean? if you don't wanna do it, DON'T POST,

I'm just looking for some pointers that's all

guess you have to learn how to read, I'm just looking for a few tips

Some tips:

- automation is a really nifty thing
- it makes faders go up and down
- and panners go left and right
- and insert effects go on and off
- and channels go muted and unmuted

I mean, seriously. Why don't you read the chapter in the Nuendo manual first and then ask *specific* questions about things you don't understand after *trying* them out.

No point in anyone writing what's already sitting on your HD ...

And Bob: don't tell me you really didn't know what RTFM means!?!?! :)

The best way to learn HOW is to use the manual and then fool around with it on your own for a little while until you start to get the hang of it.

If you're looking for info on WHEN to use it, there was a thread here a couple of days ago discussing automation in metal.

Plus, there's also the search function because I'm sure that we've discussed automation more than a few times here over the past several years.

Sometimes they have video's on your program and a guy will show you pretty much all those nifty little tricks. Might be something to look for but i hate reading sometimes and id much rather watch a video of someone demonstrating it personally.

If not then off to the manual you must go!!!
