Anyone like these guys?
I got their City of Evil album last week and have played it a fair bit.
It's pretty cool. Hard to put into a genre... It's kinda metal.. but kinda mainstream.. but not really mainstream at all.. It's weird. They all look like Emo's and have some punk in their music...... Hmm.. They seem like awesome players though.. especially the guitarist although he does tend to overdo it at times.

Anyway, check out this album,. It rocks,

That being said, I don't deny they are fucking good at what they do and I really like the album

Haven't heard them, but I heard that their older stuff is shit, but their newest album has a big power metal influence.

I'm guessing that's the one you all like (as shown in op).

Might have to check it out.

Strength of the World is a killer track... I kinda hear some Faith No More melodies in there.

Strength of the World or the album opener Beast and the Harlot.

Bat Country is also fuckin rockin and seems to be the song that most people immediately love off the album

I just read a review of the album and fond this quote to be interesting:

The songs are epic (all well over 5 minutes each), complex but very tight. A fair analogy might be early Bruce Dickenson Iron Maiden meets Guns n Roses meets A7X's own style of unique speed metal.

Holy fuck.. I just listened to the album again and can totally hear the Gunners reference.. I heard it particularly strong in Seize the Day... That solo is totally Slash like.
